- Identify the different tasks required to migrate from Oracle to Sql Server
- Define the processes required to migrate the Oracle architecture to SQL Server
- Develop and implement the steps to migrate Oracles schemas to SQL Server
- Develop and implement the steps to migrate database users from Oracle to Sql Server
- Migrate the application data from Oracle to Sql Server
- Identify and processes needed to successfully test the migrated objects from Oracle to SQL Server
- Convert the SQL and PL/SQL code from Oracle to SQL Server
- Utilize Sql Servers SSMA tool to convert your Oracle database to SQL Server 2008
- Define and automate the major steps during the migration process
- Use the assessment report to determine the size and cost of the conversion
- Convert Oracle tables, functions, stored procedures, views and sequnces
- Identify context sensitive information and provide output
- Utilize the Migration Tester in SSMA to automate all of the converted Oracle based code
